Course Description
Stone massage is not just a fluff and buff massage anymore. Learn what is new in the world of stone massage in this free seminar describing the difference in massage stones and featuring the new carved basalt stones, and marble stones.

A discussion on some advanced techniques with hot basalt and cold marble stones will be presented, as well as safety issues including, cleaning the stones, and the importance of education. A demonstration of a new protocol "Executive Stress Relief" will be revealed. One lucky participant will have the privilege of being the model for this exhibition. See how de-stressing the application of hot and cold stones can be. Attendees will have the opportunity to win door prizes.

About the Instructor
Patricia Mayrhofer, LMT, founder and President of Nature's Stones, Inc., is a cosmetologist; massage therapist and instructor since 1995, incorporating healing stones into multi-displinary approches of client treatment. She has assembled an experienced network of professionals developing and teaching multiple healing stone therapies in massage and spa treatments, both nationally and internationally. Pat is expanding the teaching of seminars to include more stone protocols as well as many manual seminars.

Pat has served as an adviser on the board of Lehigh Valley College massage therapy program, as a technical adviser for the Pennsylvania Licensing Coalition Committee, the Metal Ware Corporation (Spa-Pro), as well as several other companies in the massage therapy industry.
