PIMT Clinic

   PIMT maintains an active student clinic in which senior students have the opportunity to perform a one-hour full body massage on clients from the community. This enables the student to gain the experience of massaging various body types and dealing with different personalities. There are strict clinic requirements that must be met prior to graduation.

   While in a clinical massage, students will have to perform intakes, including blood pressure readings, on all new clients. Students will also have to medically document the intake as well as the massage.

   The clinic supervisor will observe the intakes and check the massage while being administered. Students will then be graded on their performance in all areas of the clinic.
