Welcome to the Pennsylvania Institute of Massage Therapy. I am very proud of the curriculum we have to offer at PIMT.  Since acquiring the Institute in 1994, we have striven to make our massage program one of the most comprehensive medical massage programs in the country.  I firmly believe this has been accomplished.  Over the past decade, we have discovered ways to teach students utilizing techniques which would not only make it easier to learn the information, but to understand it.

Our goal is to graduate top quality massage therapists.  Our definition of a "quality massage therapist" is not what the mainstream definition would be.  Most massage schools can teach you how to give a good massage, however, at PIMT, not only will we teach you to give an excellent massage, we will also teach you how to treat certain conditions and many times relieve pain within one visit. Many clients have stated that they have received the best massage they have ever had from one of our students or graduates.

Due to the extensive education our graduates receive, they find it is easier to secure a job.  Our graduates are working in hospitals, Health spas, day spas, and with Chiropractors as well as with other healthcare providers.  Some of our graduates have opened their own practices and are hiring other graduates to work with them.

If your goal is to become a competent Certified Massage Therapist, then our goal at PIMT is to see that your dream becomes a reality.  Although our program is one of the most comprehensive in the industry, our seasoned instructors give you the individual attention you need to succeed.
