Classes & Seminars

• The Pennsylvania Institute of Massage Therapy offers several week-end seminars during the course of a year. These courses enable Therapists to obtain their Continuing Education Credits which are required to maintain licensure or Certification (depending upon the State in which the Therapist practices).
• August 27th-28th 2011: Orthopedic Chair Massage

  January 7, 2012: Introduction to Massage
  
  This one-day seminar is especially designed for people who are interested in learning a massage technique that they can use to help their family members. It is also a great way to help the student determine whether or not they would like to pursue a career as a Licensed Massage Therapist.

• May 23: Hot Stone Reflexology

  Hot Stone Reflexology is the incorporation of heated rocks with the specific purpose to stimulate Reflex points found in the feet or hands. The Reflexologist uses a warm stone, held in the palm, and may offer a full session of hot stones, or will use a couple of stones at the end of a traditional Reflexology session.
